Kopitalistic Verses
A cup of coffee, music, cigarettes, beach, lovely girl of mine and beautiful views... What more do I need? (Picture taken by El Kopitalista. Location: Hvar island of Croatia)
Quote: tuhantu, edy, dan para pengopi sejati.... kita harus ngopi bareng....!!!!! End of quote. (By Ratih Ibrahim, Sunday, June 24th 2007)
Translation: Tuhantu (one of my nickname) Edy and the other true coffee drinkers... We have to drink coffee together...!!!
On June 24th 2007 I was on the island of Hvar, spent my weekend there, so the picture above is dedicated to my online friends, or to whomever would share and care to spend some of their time drinking coffee with me.
Since I am so faraway from those people, faraway from those who only met me online, like: Manneke Budiman, Lianny Hendranata, Teewoel, Ratih Ibrahim, Van Helsing, Ruslee Noertika, Abu Farhan, Hasan Zein Mahmud, Mang Iyus, Mang Ucup, Goenardjoadi Goenawan, Sisca, Cornelia Istiani, One Boelle, Ayaz, Vincent Liong, Anwar Haryono, Leonardo Rimba, Audivax, Swastinika, Pipiet, Djajaprana, Edy -Pekalongan- Susanto, Nawir, Bisot, and many more that I cannot mentioned their names.
I can only share my cup of coffee by some of my pictures...:-)
Along to the picture I´ve taken above, I also would like to mention some quotes from my websites and blogs called *Kopitalisme* ( http://kopitalisme.tk/ and http://kopitalisme.blogspot.com/) It says:
1. ´One of the most universal -morning- ritual: IS TO DRINK COFFEE.´
2. ´Laws, theories, ideologies are always never enough, simply because people is not a static creature. They are growing, changing and moving... But most of us are connected with coffee.´
3. Love, light and peace is all about feelings and standards. But there are always some cafes or ´warkop´ (traditional and simple coffee shops) to short the things out, wherever you go on this rotten and lonely planet.
4. The real ´battle zone´ is: Symbol, Status and Institution.
Those quotes are the bases of what I am going to talk and share with you in away to share my journeys.
