PAKLENI OTOCI.

In a poll by the Cruising World magazine, thousands of yachtsmen
said that the coast of Croatia is the most beautiful in the world, together with that of the caribbean. The Traveller magazine deckared the island of Hvar one

Hvar is an island of Dalmatian coast, where v.i.p. like Bill Gates, Tom Cruise, Bernie Ecclestone, Ivana Trump, Luciano Benetton, etc, spent their holidays.

Last week, (22 to 25 of June, 2007) I went to Hvar, and like my other trips, whenever I come to a complitely new place, I -ofcourse- did my ´ritual´! That is hanging out for some time in the local cafe and take the picture of my first cup of coffee, there. (picture above)


There is something interrests me about the term of ˝Pakleni Otoci˝ (Pronounced Pakleni Ototsi, means ˝Hellish Archipelago˝)


The archipelago (about 20 islets right opposite the town of Hvar) formed by several islands (some of them are unpopulated) with some beautiful beaches, and one of the ´hellish archipelago´ are called Jerolim, Marinkovac, Sveti Klement, etc.


How come that one of the gorgeous islands on planet being called as ˝hellish˝? As I experienced those islands, were not some hell at all, in fact it is a paradise.


Well, thats why I am here...

On June 24th 2007 I was on the island of Hvar, spent my weekend there, so the picture above is dedicated to my online friends, or to whomever would share and care to spend some of their time drinking coffee with me.

Since I am so faraway from those people, faraway from those who only met me online, like: Manneke Budiman, Lianny Hendranata, Teewoel, Ratih Ibrahim, Van Helsing, Ruslee Noertika, Abu Farhan, Hasan Zein Mahmud, Mang Iyus, Mang Ucup, Goenardjoadi Goenawan, Sisca, Cornelia Istiani, One Boelle, Ayaz, Vincent Liong, Anwar Haryono, Leonardo Rimba, Audivax, Swastinika, Pipiet, Djajaprana, Edy -Pekalongan- Susanto, Nawir, Bisot, and many more that I cannot mentioned their names.
I can only share my cup of coffee by some of my pictures...:-)
